16 Apr Epic Bridges Certified Integration Analysts
Women’s College Hospital (WCH), Toronto, Ontario has contracted with MDI Solutions to provide Epic Bridges certified integration analysts, who will be tasked with completing multiple interfaces with their Epic HIS. The integration team will utilize the MD Link interface engine to connect internal and external systems with WCH’s Epic HIS via its Bridges interface gateway.
WCH decided to discontinue its best-of-breed software approach in favor of the Epic ambulatory system. Wanting to maximize the effectiveness of the Epic system, WCH acquired the MD Link integration engine from MDI Solutions to manage connectivity with third-party systems. Following a successful Epic go-live in January, WCH determined that they now needed to proceed with deploying eight (8) interfaces in a short timeframe. Based on the successful collaboration with MDI technical resources, who worked alongside WCH analysts to manage the interface migration from e-Biz Impact to MD Link, WCH has contracted with MDI to complete the additional interface development.
