Terry is responsible for setting the company direction at MDI Solutions and overseeing the software and service sales for the Canadian, US and UK divisions. Through a diverse career in health care IT, Terry brings a deep understanding of what constitutes a successful business model in the ever changing healthcare software market. He has built a team of executive leaders who posses similar experience and knowledge of healthcare technology and hospital operations. In Terry’s previous role as Canadian Operations Director of HAS Solutions (now CSC), he successfully achieved market acceptance and deployment of several healthcare applications. His success working at a health care facility and market-leading HIS firms brings a unique blend of leadership, IT and sales knowledge to MDI solutions.

Alan’s diverse background includes successful sales, project management, software product management and government relations. This includes Xerox Canada, IBM and several niche software development tool companies. Through the acquisition of customers such as GE, Alan assisted Sitraka achieve an overall valuation of $50 M in its acquisition by Quest Software.
Alan has focused his efforts on Health Information Systems supporting HL7 interface tools, integration application development, HL7 Standards participation and supporting software vendors with successful implementations in hospitals. This experience base is ideally suited to drive MDI Solutions efforts to reduce cost and complexity of integration projects for hospitals and vendors. This is exemplified by forging strategic relationships with Sunquest and Sectra, acquiring UK NHS customers at Royal Derby Trust and Northern Ireland’s NIPACS and UK vendors like Savience. Other customers include HCA International and hospitals that use Meditech, Cerner or iSOFT for patient administration.
Alan’s goals and interests include expanding MDI Solution’s geographic reach and to assist customers in their efforts to intensify their innovation and to automate specific healthcare processes. These include facilitating the flow of Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory detail, and patient discharge correspondence in conjunction with physician EMR’s.
Alan is a graduate of Carleton University and originally hails from Ottawa. Alan is a family man, with wife Elizabeth and 2 young children, James & Samantha. Alan’s personal interests include acting as minor hockey coach and trainer in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Timothy joined the staff of MDI Solutions in August 2002, bringing with him many years of valuable technical experience in healthcare data integration. He is responsible for managing the direction of the company’s professional services and ensuring the company remains on the leading edge of latest trends and technologies in data integration. Through his extensive background in working with hospital end users, application experts, IT professionals and application vendors, Timothy has gained an in-depth knowledge of consulting, architecting, and implementing integration projects.
Timothy has reached a high level of knowledge and proficiency in interfacing with major integration engines, including DataGate™/e*Gate™ and Cloverleaf™. He obtained his Cloverleaf Level 2 Analyst certification in 1998. Timothy graduated from York University in 1998 with a Specialized Honors Bachelor degree in Space and Communication Science.

Amy has worked directly in healthcare since university, involved in data integration and systems management from day 1. She has extensive knowledge and expertise on multiple interface engine software platforms and has specialized in Epic migrations. Amy has a passion to improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery using technology and process reengineering.
In her role as senior integration analyst at UnityPoint Health in Iowa, she was integral to the completion of 3 interface engine migrations (CAI to eGate / eGate to Rhapsody / Rhapsody to Corepoint) and has completed over 10 separate Epic conversions from various legacy systems to Epic; including legacy EMPI, billing, encounter, lab, radiology, pathology, transcription, document, and ambulatory data conversions.
Amy has also directed numerous projects for multiple MDI vendor partners working to integrate their systems with Epic.
In her most recent Epic project at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, she served in the role of project manager for the interface team, responsible for the deliverables of eight interface staff members. Utilizing a newly installed Rhapsody integration engine, interfaces were implemented for over 90 systems and a conversion was completed from Allscripts to Epic.
Amy is a graduate of Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids and moved from Iowa to Ontario in 2009, and now calls Orangeville home. She’s involved in the local community and keeps busy supporting MDI on projects in the US, Canada and UK. Amy is also a key member of the MDI conference team and travels to HIMSS at different US locations and Medica in Germany.
